We are the hidden circle behind a series of immersive experiences, each one a different doorway into the same underground order. For centuries, private orders gave powerful men rooms where influence moved quietly. Countercurse reclaims the hidden room for women and their supporters: an order for those who see through the facade and are ready to shape the future.
Our events are made for women who want more, and for the people bold enough to follow them in. Come for the show. Leave with the sense that something buried has broken through the dark.
The Emblem
Our emblem is a cherry tree breaking through dark clouds. Each blossom represents an act of courage, refusal, creativity, independence, or solidarity, while the clouds hide women's needs, minimize their experiences, and obscure their value. The tree breaks through because women rise together.
